You Are God’s Exclusive Masterpiece! (Part I)

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 - But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him.

All believers have a calling to serve God in different ways, to serve doesn't always necessarily mean we need to stand on big platforms and preach to a multitude.  It can mean any task for which we are divinely appointed which in turn will create a big impact in Gods kingdom, because we have God’s power at work through us. Many times we think we are not capable, we assume we lack the oratory skills or we lack the confidence or we are just not worthy, Beloved whatever you think or feel about yourself is not how God sees you, God our creator is very sure of what he created his very own, when he made us he had a great plan for us, let us read

Psalms 139: 13-16 for you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.                  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

The psalmist acknowledges how God is actively involved when we were created, we are not a mere coincidence, and our birth is Gods divine plan. We are not on the face of the earth just by chance, we are here because we have a purpose to fulfill and destiny to reach, an impact to make.
As human as we are we tend to get discouraged, we forget to realize the that we belong to a divine Almighty God and we are a masterpiece in is sight we rather tend to look and magnify the negativity of our life and get discouraged and let the enemy take hold.

Now we will consider a few examples from the bible of how some of them saw themselves and how God saw them.

If we read the book of Exodus, we come across Moses was a murdered, he had killed a person in exodus 2:11, he was not a good speaker exodus 4:10, but God over looked all these things and chose him to save the people of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh and take them to the promised land. It was a big challenge, a great task and yet God chose a person known to have murdered and who could speak properly. He created a huge impact.

In the book of Judges Chapter 6:15 we see Gideon’s description about himself he says my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family, Gideon considers him as the weakest or the least while God sees his as a mighty warrior judges 6: 12. In a time when Israel was under the oppression of the enemy, God chose Gideon to save Israel from the hands of the enemies, Gideon was never expecting to be used by the Lord, he considered himself so unworthy, But God was sure of Gideon and was sure he could bring victory, if we read further we see Gideon was victorious.

In the Book of Ruth, Ruth was a Moabite widow, yet she was used in a mighty way to bring a blessing to Israel                                                                                                                (....... to be continued)
