The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,   like a spring whose waters never fail.. Is 58:11

Many of us have started life a new this year, new resolutions, new hopes with a new promise in our heart, but as human as we are there is still sense of fear or anxiety of how will we be successful to achieve all that we hope for. As I was meditating on this yesterday I came upon a promise of God in  the bible in Is 58:11. Read it along with me. The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden,   like a spring whose waters never fail.. Is 58:11

The Lord promises in his never failing word that he will guide us always, irrespective of all the situation and decisions (simple or difficult) we need to face in our life, he promises to guide us always, not some times or at times but always. All we need is to submit to him and seek him, wait upon him. God will surely guide us and all we will have success.

The next promise is all our needs will be met, be it physical, if we are in need of healing we will receive it, if we are in need to material provisions like finances, jobs, houses it will be met. If we are in need of spiritual needs like grace to overcome to change our life, grace to preach and evangelize, grace to spend time in prayer, grace to reach out to people, gifts and charisms to serve God. All that we need, will be met, promises the Lord.

He promises us to strengthen us. During every weak moment and situation and time, he promises us strength. He promises us to keep us like a well water garden.

Do don’t fear, don’t be anxious jus trust in the lord. Be faithful to his word. Seek him every moment and every word of this promise will be ours in Jesus name.
