Psalms 121:4 Indeed, he who watches over Israel,  will neither slumber nor sleep.

Precious friend, request you to replace Israel with your name and read the verse above, yes indeed Our loving God assures us, gives us a new hope in his word. Here he promises that he never sleeps or slumbers, which mean his eyes, are always upon us, from his heavenly throne he is constantly watching over us to make sure we are safe and no evil is able to take over us. Even when we are unaware and in deep sleep yet our God is looking upon us to ensure we are safe. It is his unchanging never ending love for us which makes him look upon us and care for us.

To think a little more differently about this scripture, how much are we conscious about this fact, do we live our day to day life knowing God is watching over us, when are working in our work places, working in our kitchen places or just walking on the street or in our day to day dealings are we conscious that the King of Kings is watching over us, We tend to live so careless lives, doing things displeasing to him. It could mean careless words spoken, selfish attitude, hurt and cheat people, anger, pride, jealousy only a few things to mentions.

Today as we meditate on psalms 121:4 let us make a conscious effort to live a life that pleases god. Let us do one small act which will please Gods heart, it could mean share an encouraging word with someone around you, help someone in need, do your tasks honestly and above all lets praise god and be conscious that he is watching over and also lets bid a good bye to anxiety and worries and  all the other lies the enemy tells us, let us know for sure the your God and my God, who died on the cross to save us is watching over us and will ensure to keep us safe under his care and protection.

One greatest unchangeable truth is Jesus Loves you much more than you can ever imagine.
