ANSWER TO ALL OUR PRAYERS

23 I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen; it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.               Mk 11:23 - 25

Many of us at some point or the other find our prayers not being answered and we wonder and more than often why could it be so. A handful of us would even end up blaming God for not answering our prayers, thinking God doesn't love us enough.

When we read the above 3 scriptures very carefully, Jesus tells us so clearly how we can have our prayers answered.

There are 3 essentials we need to fulfill to have an answer:
  •    Do not doubt in your heart.

All of us do pray seeking god to bless or intentions but we are full of doubt. Let’s look into our hearts and see and we will surely find some amount of doubt.

  •   Believe you have received it.

Believe you have received it, when you pray believe that it is received. Start thanking god for the blessing. For example, if you are praying for a car or a healing. Pray to the lord, tell him your need, he knows your need even before you do, yet God loves to hear you speak to him, open your heart to Jesus, once you are done believe that it will be done, do not doubt, how you actually show that you believe is start thanking god for it even before you have it, the bible tells us, that we should walk in faith not by sight.

One thing we need to understand is, we have a God who knows are tomorrow, who knows the future, there could be some prayers we make which may seem right to us, but not according to the will and plan God has for us and when we are not sure, we should trust god to bless us with his will and surely his plan is much much beautiful than ours and as time passes we will be a testimony. I have numerous such testimonies and today I have learnt to trust God for his better plans than my desires.

  •      Forgiveness.

A major hindrance to prayer and our relationship with god is un forgiveness, In our day to day living, we tend to have major and minor frictions with people at work and our own friends and family and it is important to forgiven instantly and not let the buildup into walls of hurt feelings and un forgiveness. The bible says in Isaiah 59:2 Sin separates us from God, and un forgiveness is a sin.

Dear precious child of God, today if you’re finding yourself in a situation where you have been praying and yet find no answer. Meditate and look deep into your life and see if you have any doubt jus lingering by, if yes cast the doubt and fear out and believe that the Lord in heaven has heard your prayers and he is waiting to bring fulfillment.

Examine to see if you have un forgiveness or hurt feeling, if yes forgive the person and ask for forgiveness and thirdly if you’re not sure if what you asking is according to God’s plan for you, surrender your desire to him and ask him to bless you with his will and surely you will have a testimony for the Glory of God.
