It amazes me when I meditate on the lives of some people in the bible of how their lives were amazingly changed only because of one reason and it is that God was with them.
Joseph was a simple young boy, who led a simple life, his elder brothers were jealous of him because his father favoured him above them and they sold him as a slave to the Egyptians; and the Word of God says that God was with Joseph and he gave him success (Gen 39) that he rose to be in charge of the whole nation of Egypt. From an ordinary slave he rose to be a In-charge of Egypt only because he had God with him.
He had no human influence, no money but he had God with him.
David was an ordinary shepherd the youngest in the family, He found favor with god, he was a man after God's own heart and the bible tells us in 1 Sam 18:14 In everything david did he had great success because the Lord was with him. From an ordinary shepherd boy he rose to be a king of the nation of Israel only because God was with him.
Taking lesson from the lives of these two great men of god we need to only seek god and seek his presence in our life to be successful and enjoy the goodness of life.
Our success doesn't depend on what we have, but it depends on who we have in our life.
If we have Jesus in our life, we are on the road to sure success in our personal, spiritual, professional, and social life.
