We can recall many instances in our life when we plan to do some thing, we begin, assuming we will be successful but it has turned exactly opposite of what we assumed and desired it to be.
It could be with reference to starting a new job, a new business, a new relationship a holiday or any other plan.
The holy bible has an answer to all our questions, and Proverbs 16:3 says Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed.
The scripture tells us to commit i.e to surrender our plans to the lord in prayer,and trust the lord to lead us into success. When we desire to start some thing as trivial as it may seem to us it could bring in a lot of goodness or disaster in our lives, so the best to do is to surrender the plan we have to Jesus our Lord and seek his will, and Jesus Christ, will ensure to bring our plans in line with his will for us.
If the thing we plan is do or step we plan to take is not for our benefit the lord will convict our hearts and give us revelation how how it could bring disaster in our life and change our heart to stop and instead show us the way we should take, a way that is his plan for us according to (Jeremiah 29:11).
Jesus is our good shepherd and if he finds us going the wrong way he will carry us in his bosom and bring us to the right path, a place with green pastures and quiet waters (Psalms 23), all we need is to depend and lean on Jesus and be obedient to his silent voice speaking to us.
