It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.   Ps 44:3

The world around us today drives us to the edge to perform and achieve success and prosperity. Day in and day out our struggle is to achieve greater heights, better results and gain more fame, however in Ps 44:3 the psalmist refers to when the Israelites left the land of Egypt and entered into the land of Canaan it was not their own effort that gave them victory, rather it was the Lord himself who fought for them, drove all the inhabitants of the land and gave the Israelites possession of the land.

The same way all of us are facing some or the other challenge in our life and find it so difficult to cope up. Do not worry beloved, irrespective of what situation you are facing right now, the Lord says to you “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Do not give up in this moment of despair as the Lord delivered the Israelites from the hands of their enemy and gave them possession of the promised land the same way the Lord will fight against the enemy for you, Trust is God, look up to him, you are precious to him and he will not forsake you.

The lord didn't forsake the Israelite he gave them victory by fighting for them. Do not trust and rely on your efforts and works to be victorious, as the psalmist says it’s the right hand of the lord, the hand of favour and the strength of the Lord that can give us victory. We need to be rooted in the hand of the Lord; we need to find our strength in the Lord. The arm of the Lord is his protection; to have the arm of the Lord around us is to be protected by him.

This moment onwards do not grow weary with the pressure of this world rather entrust your life to Jesus and his right hand, his arm and the light of his face will bring you success, will take you to green pastures because he simply loves us.

Success & Security is Rooted in Christ Jesus.

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. Psalm 127:1-2

Success and Security are the two most essentials in the life of every person and every one aims and works hard to achieve it. We want success in every area of our life it starts with successful academic life, successful career, successful marriage, and successful social life and so on and so forth and security is another concern, security of health, finances, homes, belongings, protection of family.

As student we work hard almost the whole day to have a successful academic year and many a times complain that our efforts dint bear fruit, many others work hard day in and day out in their work places but at the end of the year feel dejected for their hard work has not borne fruits and no due recognition is received. Many among us are struggling to build a successful marriage and many more work hard in vain towards gaining favor of men.

Let’s take time to meditate on what the Word of God tells us in area of success in Psalms 127:1-2.

The psalmist says unless the lord builds the house, its builders labor in vain. We cannot have the best without the favor and intervention of our God. We cannot build our career, academic, marriage etc. sans the presence of God.  The above promise hold true for every area of our life and unless the Lord build our career, our family, our marriage our church we labor in vain. It’s important we work hard and with commitment but we cannot ignore the need of God’s divine intervention in every area of life. Before we start our day we need to seek the face of God, we need to call upon him, seek God’s grace and direction. If we try to achieve success without depending on God it may not always achieve it and if we do it will not be perfect and long lived success.

Similarly another major challenge we face is security or protection, irrespective of how much we try we can never be 100 % secure or safe. But the bible says unless the Lord watches over us all human efforts are in vain.We do everything in our ability to protect our homes and family from evil but many a times all efforts turn futile. This day let’s depend on our Lord and saviour for all that we are in need of, The bible assures us that God will perfect all things concerning us Psalms 138:8 (KJV). Jesus himself became the lamb and died on the cross; shed his blood for our protection. No evil force is greater than our God and his work on the cross.

We are fortunate because the bible gives us a key and assurance to sure success and security and that is nothing but our Lord and Savior Jesus.  Trust in Jesus, Seek his face, Hold on to Jesus as your refuge and strength and surely no evil of failure will touch you.

Our God neither sleeps nor are slumbers, his protecting eyes always upon us. Psalms: 121.

Trust in God for success and security. God Bless You.

Sure Victory in Jesus

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken. Ps 34:19-20

A lot of people are suffering from so much of torture and torment, but all be believe as Jesus the Lord and savior of their lives have a blessed assurance a sure hope in him.

As believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord promises us that in the midst of all trial and trouble he is with us. His protection is upon us and our family. We may have problems but surely our life will not end in problems. The enemy may strike us but he will not be victorious. The final victory is ours. We are sure winners. In Ps 34:19 It the righteous may have troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

The bible is very clear and specific that Jesus our LORD will deliver every righteous person from all problems. As believers in Christ we have His righteousness, because Jesus took our sins upon himself and gave us his goodness, his righteousness. We are righteous because we believe Jesus as our Lord and savior.

Be encouraged dear brother, dear sister, if you are in a middle of a difficult overwhelming situation in your life, this situation is not going to triumph.

The ultimate victory belongs to you. In psalm 34:20 God promises complete protection.

Cling to Jesus, hold on to his word. Every difficulty, every impossible situation will loose and you will have victory.

You are God's Exclusive Masterpiece ( Part 2)

Isaiah considered himself as a worst sinner (Isaiah 6:4), but yet the Lord saw his as a prophet who could go and give the people Gods message, Isaiah was the prophet who even prophesied the Birth of our Lord Jesus hundreds of years before Jess was born.

Jeremiah considered himself as a too young and incapable of being at the service of the Lord (Jeremiah 1:6), but tells him do not call him a child but be prepared to do all  that he is called to do.

Many times we get discouraged because of what our family, friends, associates think and say about us, David was once such example who was a bold young lad and had the courage to face the enemy, but he had to overcome a lot of discouragement from his own brothers I Samuel 17:28, he was discourage by king Saul 1 Samuel 17: 33, his own discouraged him they wanted to stop him from doing what he was called to do, but David was sure of himself. God saw David as a man after his own heart Acts 13:22 and David went to become the great King of Israel from his lineage came the messiah of the World Jesus Christ.

Dearly beloved, the Lord in Jeremiah 1:5 tells Jeremiah and he is telling each one you reading this now, Even before you were formed in your mother’s womb he knew you, he knew what he has in store for you, he knew what he wanted to make out of you he knew what would be your height, your skin color, your every single feature he knew, he knew the purpose behind how he planned to make you, You are not a mere accident or, you are Gods unique, exclusive, limited edition creation. In the same verse the Lord says even before you were born he has set you apart and appointed you to your specific calling. Dear friend even before you were born you were anointed to be at the service of God. God has placed within us the anointing, the grace to live our calling. Some of you are called to preach the gospel, some are called to evangelize, some to sing and play instruments for god, some to visit the sick and pray for them, some to teach children about the love of God, some to write for the glory of God, some to intercede. We should recognize are calling and work towards it

Do not get discouraged by focusing on the negative areas of your life, Ask God to give you his eyes and insight to see how he sees you, at the same time let us make a conscious decision not to discourage people around us but let’s pray and ask God to give us the grace to see people the way he sees them and encourage the.

Before I end lets us read Ephesians 2:10 for we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

The bible very clearly says we are Gods Masterpiece and indeed You are God’s Masterpiece created to do all God planned for us, so rise up child of God and do what you are called and destined to do for God and his kingdom, rise up above your shortcomings, rise up above your discouragement, rise up above the opinion people have about you. Your creator has bought into existence a masterpiece and it is YOU!

Just before we end a word of caution as you begin to serve God and his people, guard your heart to ensure so pride enters you, the moment we let pride enter us and have a hold over us it is a beginning of our downfall. As you grow in your service to the lord strive to grow in humility Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you. (James 4:10).

You Are God’s Exclusive Masterpiece! (Part I)

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 - But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. 28 He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, 29 so that no one may boast before him.

All believers have a calling to serve God in different ways, to serve doesn't always necessarily mean we need to stand on big platforms and preach to a multitude.  It can mean any task for which we are divinely appointed which in turn will create a big impact in Gods kingdom, because we have God’s power at work through us. Many times we think we are not capable, we assume we lack the oratory skills or we lack the confidence or we are just not worthy, Beloved whatever you think or feel about yourself is not how God sees you, God our creator is very sure of what he created his very own, when he made us he had a great plan for us, let us read

Psalms 139: 13-16 for you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.                  I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.

The psalmist acknowledges how God is actively involved when we were created, we are not a mere coincidence, and our birth is Gods divine plan. We are not on the face of the earth just by chance, we are here because we have a purpose to fulfill and destiny to reach, an impact to make.
As human as we are we tend to get discouraged, we forget to realize the that we belong to a divine Almighty God and we are a masterpiece in is sight we rather tend to look and magnify the negativity of our life and get discouraged and let the enemy take hold.

Now we will consider a few examples from the bible of how some of them saw themselves and how God saw them.

If we read the book of Exodus, we come across Moses was a murdered, he had killed a person in exodus 2:11, he was not a good speaker exodus 4:10, but God over looked all these things and chose him to save the people of Israel from the hands of Pharaoh and take them to the promised land. It was a big challenge, a great task and yet God chose a person known to have murdered and who could speak properly. He created a huge impact.

In the book of Judges Chapter 6:15 we see Gideon’s description about himself he says my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family, Gideon considers him as the weakest or the least while God sees his as a mighty warrior judges 6: 12. In a time when Israel was under the oppression of the enemy, God chose Gideon to save Israel from the hands of the enemies, Gideon was never expecting to be used by the Lord, he considered himself so unworthy, But God was sure of Gideon and was sure he could bring victory, if we read further we see Gideon was victorious.

In the Book of Ruth, Ruth was a Moabite widow, yet she was used in a mighty way to bring a blessing to Israel                                                                                                                (....... to be continued)
